About me

I have been a licensed therapist since 1992. I was first licensed in California and held a license in Louisiana for several years until I moved to Georgia. I have been an LPC in Georgia since 2002 where I am also a Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor. Over the years I have worked in Community Behavioral Health and maintained a private practice. When the Covid Pandemic forced me to work virtually I found that my clients enjoyed the ease of meeting from their homes. This method of practice also allowed me to meet with my clients at times that were most convenient to them. My clients have brought many issues to our sessions including abuse and trauma, depression, stress and anxiety, co-occurring issues, family conflicts, life transition issues, lack of self esteem and confidence as well as communication issues. I provide a safe and validating environment where clients feel comfortable and are able to share their intimate concerns. I am non judgmental, caring and am concerned about my clients growth and happiness. I am adept at many approaches to counseling including Cognitive Behavioral, Solution Focused, Mindfulness, Trauma Focused, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Client Centered Therapy and Existential Therapy. Putting it simply, I work with you to help you find peace and happiness. Everyone deserves a fulfilling life and I would honor the opportunity to go on the journey with you.
