About Katie

I am a licensed professional counselor and have been licensed for over 5 years working in the non profit industry. I have worked with clients exhibiting a wide range of symptoms including anxiety, depression, everyday stress, relationship problems, family issues, career changes, and have experience with individuals who have faced trauma and abuse. My therapy style is mixed and accommodating to who I am working with. I truly believe the client is in control and sets the pace for the session. I believe everyone should be treated with respect, dignity, and that maintaining confidentiality and therapeutic relationship to be my top priority. I like to utilize cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, human centered, psychodynamic therapy, and choice therapy. I think that the hardest part of counseling is signing up and starting and it takes a lot of courage to do so. I look forward to working with you and watching you chase happiness in life.
