About Katherine

Welcome! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor that enjoys helping individuals become their best possible selves. Before becoming an LPC, I worked as a Registered Behavioral Therapist for 8 years working with clients with a variety of challenges including autism spectrum disorder and ADHD. Additional concerns that I currently help with include depression, anxiety, and anger management. While I have worked with individuals of all ages, I enjoy helping children and adolescents. The majority of my work in mental health has been with younger clients and their families assisting them with issues in their home, school, and communities. My approach combines cognitive behavioral, solution-focused, and person-centered modalities. I don’t believe that one size fits all and will tailor treatment to meet your unique needs. My counseling style is warm and understanding. I use empathy and active listening skills to create a safe environment where clients feel comfortable being themselves. Reaching out for help is a courageous first step and I am ready to support you. I look forward to working with you! Read more Show less
