About Karen
Has a major life-changing event left you feeling anxious, depressed, stressed, or unsure of how to move forward? You may be trying to recover from heartbreak or divorce, grieving the loss of someone you love, struggling with low self-esteem, or adjusting to a difficult change in your life. Sometimes an experience can affect us so deeply that we no longer feel like ourselves. You may feel stuck, emotionally exhausted, or uncertain about what comes next. You want to feel better, rebuild your confidence, rediscover yourself, and begin living your life with greater intention. I am here to help. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 15 years of experience in social work and behavioral health. I work primarily with women who are experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, grief and loss, low self-esteem, heartbreak, divorce, and difficulty adjusting after a major life change. Throughout my career, I have worked in private practice, medical social work, hospital case management, grief and hospice care, and as a Military and Family Life Counselor. My experience has allowed me to support individuals from many different backgrounds as they work through some of the most difficult periods of their lives. My approach to therapy is warm, compassionate, and straightforward. I believe in meeting you where you are and creating a space where you can be honest about what you are feeling without fear of judgment. I will listen, support you, and help you understand the thoughts, emotions, and patterns that may be keeping you from moving forward. Together, we can work on managing anxiety and depression, processing grief and heartbreak, rebuilding your self-esteem, developing healthier coping skills, and helping you reconnect with who you are. Therapy can also help you become more intentional about your choices, your relationships, and the life you want to create. A painful experience may have changed your life, but it does not have to determine the rest of your story. If you are ready to heal, rebuild, and move forward, I would be honored to support you.
