About me

I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) licensed in Oklahoma with 20+ years of experience working with children, adults and families. I’ve worked with those struggling with severe mental illness as well as those individuals who are struggling with issues including depression, anxiety, grief & loss, divorce, LGBT issues, parenting problems and serious and/or life threatening illness. My counseling style is client-focused ; I think it’s very important to meet the client where they currently are in their journey and work from that point. I am very genuine in my day to day life and bring that trait to each session with the belief that in doing so, the client will feel more at ease with being honest as issues & challenges are being processed. I believe that everyone deserves respect and compassion as well as the opportunity to have added support when needed. My approach combines cognitive behavioral, client centered and rational-emotive counseling techniques. Your treatment plan and the direction of our sessions will be tailored to meet your individual needs. It’s not easy asking for help – especially when life is presenting you with more than your share of challenges. If you are ready to take that first step, I am here to support you. I am accepting both international and Oklahoma clients!
