My name is Kaeron Donaldson and I am Licensed Therapist through the state of Florida. I gained my MSW degree from Florida International University, I have my LCSW qualifications and the ten years of social work and counseling experience I have; as well as my passion for promoting the well-being of children and their families. I have extensive experience working with children, adolescents and their families in their homes and school settings. I have worked as a social work intern and an associate social worker in an agency that provided services to middle school and high students who are caregivers to family members who had minimal to severe medical issues while providing services to the family. I have also worked at Family Central Inc. with families in the home who are seeking support in implementing, increasing, and/or maintaining consistent parenting skills while encouraging family bonds. My most resent work experience was at Memorial Health care Systems with the M. O. M. S program where I provided individual counseling and case management services to mothers experiencing symptoms of postpartum depression during and after pregnancy. My other experiences includes working with families involved in the foster care system, mentoring, and providing individual/group sessions for students and families. I have the ability to support adolescents to identify their strength and weaknesses, while helping them recognize where they want to be and steps they can take towards their definition of success for themselves. I am also able to aid individuals in utilizing the available resources based on each individual needs. I have always served in some capacity as a support system for children and families. I have the required knowledge for assessing situations with high risk and make appropriate assessment based on the identified needs presented. It is important to me to meet individuals at their level and guide them to the place where they can continue to meet their own needs.
