About K

I am a licensed doctoral psychologist in New York with 20 years of professional work experience I work mostly with children, adolescents and their families. As a licensed psyhologist and a board certified behavior analyst, I have experience with the full range of developmental disorders especially neurodivergence (e.g., on the autism spectrum). I have experience in helping clients with school-based issues, anxiety, depression, family conflicts, trauma, abuse, & parenting issues. I am also a registered yoga instructor a the 500 hour level and use mindfulness meditation as a part of my practice. I believe that clients are the experts of their story and I focus on strengths and normalization. Seeking therapeutic intervention is not only, smart, it represents an additive model not a deficit. I serve as your advocate in order to promote functioning at optimal levels throughout the lifespan. Read more Show less
