About Julie

Most of us don’t seek help until the pain is too great and we come to a point where we admit that we need help; that we just can’t do this on our own. It can often feel defeating because we have been taught that we ‘should’ be able to handle anything if we put our minds to it. The reality is it takes a great deal of courage to ask for and accept help. I applaud you in taking this step. It is a true privilege for me to try to support others with their challenges; to be given their trust and their confidence. I work to do this using evidence-based practices within a warm, safe and non-judgmental relationship which the two of us create. I respect that you are the expert on YOU and I work to support you in developing your strengths, your own resilience and adding new tools and solutions for living your best life. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and hold a New Jersey license. I have significant experience working within multiple types of settings with diverse issues and populations. I am also well versed with 12 step programs. My approach is person-centered as well as interactive, validating and empowering. I would be honored to be a part of your journey Read more Show less
