About me

I am glad you are here. A little bit about myself- I have 8 years of direct clinical experience with people with a variety of needs and from a variety of backgrounds. I received my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from University of Pennsylvania and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor through the state of Colorado. I am trained in CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). Through a person- centered, eclectic approach, I focus on building self efficacy with clients and providing skills to clients to implement as needed to ensure clients know they have the power to manage needs. These skills involve but are not limited to mindfulness skills, emotional regulation skills, distress tolerance skills, resource building and focus on identifying destructive thought patterns and reframing these thoughts. I have worked extensively with clients of all ages and with a variety of needs including but not limited to depression, anxiety, post partum needs, trauma, and managing emotional content through difficult life experiences. My goal is for you to be living your best life and knowing you have the skills and power to do this. I look forward to getting to know you and increasing your confidence and power. You have already taken the hardest step in reaching out so congratulations and I look forward to working with you.
