About me

Hi, and thanks for taking the time to see if you and I may be a good clinical match. I am a licensed clinical social worker with more than 10 years of counseling experience, many of those as a hospice grief counselor. I believe the most important part of therapy is the relationship developed between the client and his or her counselor. As your counselor, I will provide an environment of unconditional positive regard, acceptance and support with no judgment, in hopes that you will be able to see yourself in the same way and successfully make the changes you are seeking to achieve. My therapeutic modalities vary because people are unique and not everyone responds in the same manner to specific approaches. Your therapeutic experience should be tailored to you, and I will encourage and empower you to actively participate in the process. You can do the work that is needed. You have already begun…just by considering therapy and looking for a therapist. I would be honored to join you in your journey and look forward to hearing from you.
