About me

I have been described as an insightful and empathic clinician. I earned my doctorate in psychology at the School of Behavioral and Applied Science, Azusa Pacific University. I completed an APA-accredited clinical internship at WestCoast Children’s Clinic where I specialized in treating ethnically diverse children and adolescents, many with severe anxiety, depression, and exposure to traumatic events. Prior to internship, I trained in community mental health outpatient settings, conducting psychological testing and providing in-home, community based services. I integrate elements of positive psychology, solutions-focused, motivational interviewing, and existential therapies. I believes that therapy can benefit everyone, and have participated in multiple modalities: individual, couples, group, and psychoanalysis. I treat a diversity of concerns, including depression, anxiety, anger, trauma, addiction, stress, and relational issues. I specialize in working with children, teens, parents, and young adults.
