About me

I decided to become a licensed mental health counselor because I realized the importance of helping people improve their mental health. I feel that mental health services are just as important as medical services. I have over a decade of experience working in the mental health field in various settings including crisis and emergency services, outpatient clinics, and inpatient psychiatric settings. I believe that the person seeking services knows themselves best, which is why I utilize a person-centered, strength-based approach to help people with whatever it is that they are struggling with. I believe it’s important to collaborate with patients on their mental health goals and find appropriate treatment modalities that help them achieve these goals.
