Jeremy Pugh

I am a professional counselor licensed in Texas with over 14 years experience in outpatient and inpatient settings. I have worked with individuals with a wide array of concerns ranging from depression, anxiety, ADHD, OCD to bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. I have helped many patients with a history of trauma, as well as those experiencing relationship and/or sexuality issues. My counseling style is empathetic, open and warm. I believe that each client should be treated with respect and dignity. I do not discriminate against seeing any client based upon race, gender, age or sexual identity. I have a very nonjudgmental approach that allows clients to feel safe and free to to be who they are. I believe the relationship with the client is imperative towards progress for the client. My counseling methods are eclectic and built around the specific needs of each person I work with. I utilize approaches contained in Client Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing but often use other approaches when suitable.
