About me

A safe atmosphere to share your struggles, an empathetic ear to listen to you and what you are struggling with in your life, a fresh perspective, practical solutions, and a down to earth counselor! That is what you get with me! I work with specifically with males individually and with couples in pre-marriage and marriage counseling. I have experience working with men dealing with depression, anxiety, divorce, loss/grief, phase of life problems, relationship problems, anger, and more. Since my counseling experience and research deals with male clients and heterosexual couples. Please keep this in mind as you consider me as a potential counselor. I am a graduate of Liberty University with two masters degrees. The masters in religion and Christian leadership comes in handy as I help people navigate some of the questions of how spirituality impacts their life and the masters in professional counseling comes into play as I help others discover insight into their life and how to develop working solutions that are holistic. I went back to school for these programs after getting married and having kids so I’m no stranger to stress. I have been working in the counseling counseling environment providing services in a variety of setting for over 11 years and have been a licensed counselor since 2015. My approach considers the mind, body and spirit of a person and how thinking, feeling and doing all interact. If you feel stuck, anxious, down or confused, talking things through with someone can be a great start in making a change! I would love to be invited into your story! Best wishes
