About Jennifer
Hi! My name is Jennifer Visconti, and I’m a Licensed Mental Health Clinician in New York with years of professional experience. I earned my Master’s degree in 2017 and have worked extensively with individuals facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, stress, substance use, and anger management, including in correctional settings.
My therapy style is warm, interactive, and collaborative. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don’t believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach draws from cognitive-behavioral, client-centered, psychodynamic, mindfulness, solution-focused, and motivational interviewing techniques, allowing me to tailor our work to your unique needs and goals.
I believe you are the expert of your own story and already have strengths that can help you navigate challenges. My role is to support you in building on those strengths and working toward meaningful, positive change.
I typically check messages a few times per day Sunday through Thursday and respond as promptly as I can. I appreciate your patience if there are occasional delays while I’m attending to other clients or responsibilities. I look forward to working with you!Read moreShow less
