About Jennifer

Hello. My name is Jennifer Pias-Hage. I am a New York State Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I earned my Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling at The Sage Colleges. I currently work in a private hospital in upstate NY. I have private patients, couples and I run groups for adolescents. I use many different approaches such as cognitive behavior and dialectical behavior therapy and person-focused therapy. My strength though, is empathy and establishing trust between me and my clients which is the foundation of a therapeutic relationship and the growth of the client. Using the psychological theories combined with empathy will help us to gain insight into the attributes that have helped achieve your identified goals and happiness in the past and gain confidence to achieve the identified goals and happiness of your future. Goals may include relationship goals, career goals or the development of your psychological or spiritual self. Read more Show less
