About me

I am licensed in Iowa with 3 years of professional work experience as a Mental Health therapist. Prior to my work as a therapist, I have experience working with behavioral issues, hospice, autism and inpatient psychiatric clients. I have been trained in EMDR, DBT, TR-CBT, Polyvagal Theory, Parts Work, Somatic Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, trauma and abuse, coping with grief and loss, & motivation, self esteem, and confidence. The therapeutic relationship is very important to me as I believe that the space between us is where we can explore all the things that need to be explored. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I am proud of you for getting started!
