About Jeffrey

Hello there! My name is Jeff Eastman, and I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC). I have lots of experience working with people of different ages and from different backgrounds. I have provided counseling for combat veterans and their families, conducted assessments in an emergency room and psychiatric hospital, and have worked with youth in a residential program. I am also a certified trauma counselor. This wide range of experience means that I will likely be able to assist you with whatever you are dealing with. I am a husband, a father, a son, an employee, and a person with issues of my own. I bring not only my education and experience to the therapy session; I bring my own experiences that have made me stronger. With me as your counselor, you are working with someone who has “been there.” Maybe not in your exact situation, but I have been in counseling and I always seek to draw from my own experiences as a client to be a better counselor. I also have two special-needs daughters, both Type 1 diabetics; one has autism and the other has PTSD. So in addition to knowing what it is like to be a client, I also know the struggles of parenting special-needs children, and all that goes with that. If you are in this situation, you will receive compassion and understanding from someone who is living right in the middle of that struggle as well. I look forward to the honor of walking with you on whatever journey it is you are on. I can’t promise that it will be easy, but I can tell you that it will be worth it. Read more Show less
