About JaLisa

Let’s be real-life gets messy, and sometimes Googling your problems just isn’t cutting it anymore. I work with individuals 15 and up, navigating anxiety, stress, life transitions, or that constant “what am I doing with my life?” loop. I hold an LCSW in TX, MN, MT, ND, SD, AK, and TN, and have over 8 years of experience supporting individuals and families from all walks of life. I’m passionate about working with people of color, and I aim to create a supportive, affirming space where you feel seen and respected. I utilize a straightforward, collaborative approach with a client-centered approach-more real conversation, less “therapy voice.” A combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Strength-Based Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing is interwoven to help you reach your therapeutic goals. I offer free consultations where you can share your story, what’s been weighing on you, and your therapeutic goals/aims. If the fit feels right, we’ll shape clear goals together and get to work in a space that’s warm, honest, and fully supportive of you showing up as you are. I’ll be right there with you as we turn insight into real, meaningful change. Read more Show less
