About Jacqueline

Hello, I am Jacqueline Switzer, LMHC, M.A. For. Psych.. For nearly 2 decades I have dedicated my career to helping others. This has come in many forms over the years from group home experiencein my early career care/case management, managing a homeless shelter, crisis managment and intervention, contractor for NYS Dept. Of Corrections (DOCCS), group and individual counseling. I have been a practicing therapist for 8 years, but my working experience in the mental health field far exceededs that. Thanks to my diverse background I am able to be a strong advocate for my clients and it gives me a unique approach that is trauma informed, solution focused, with psychoeducation and mindfulness intertwined throughout and allows me to provide unbiased quality care for my clients.
