About me

In my 40+ years of counseling, I have been fortunate to have experienced a broad range of issues with which people are faced with in their lives. My endeavor is to bring that experience to those who may benefit. In particular, working within family systems would have to be my strongest foundational area of expertise. From this foundation, I’ve gained specialized knowledge in the areas of couples’s relationship issues, substance abuse, and affective disorders. In particular, I’ve worked a great deal with treatment resistant depression and bipolar disorder. Even so, all the knowledge in the world is only useful if provided in the context of a caring, respectful therapeutic relationship. I’ve had numerous compliments from my colleagues regarding my unique style and its effectiveness.
