About me

I have vast experience working with a wide range of clients. My speciality is relationships, whether it be strengthening them or moving forward post-relationship. As a graduate of NYU’s School of Clinical Social Work, I specialize in psychoanalytic therapies which takes your past experiences (both negative and positive) and relates them to your present day behaviors and relationship patterns. I encourage the use of self-reflection and self-examination. Recognizing recurring patterns can help you to see how you avoid distress or develop defense mechanisms to cope. This insight is the impetus to changing those patterns. My therapy style is laid back and client led. I believe in meeting you where you are with respect and compassion. My style is also eclectic, often incorporating aspects of various treatment approaches. I will encourage you to recognize your positive strengths and attributes in order to develop and incorporate them into your life.
