About Heidi
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. I began working at an adult acute psychiatric facility in 2014. I then,worked in residential, intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient eating disorder programs for adolescents and adults, which is one of my main areas of interest. I've also worked with a substance abuse/addiction program which consisted of all levels of care from detox to intensive outpatient therapy. My most recent work experience was with a group practice in College Station, Texas. I work with adolescents starting at 12 years, and I work with adults up to 65 years old. My experience consists of, but is not limited to, clients with eating disorders, anxiety, depression, trauma, abuse, borderline personality disorder, anxiety, self-esteem, substance abuse, and struggles adjusting to difficult life changesI often utilize talk therapy, client-centered therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, compassion focused therapy, and acceptance commitment therapy.
