About Heather

Hi, I'm Heather, pronouns she/they! I'm an LCSW and I have 10+ years of experience providing therapy to people who are feeling stuck, unheard, and/or trapped within our system of social norms and unrealistic expectations. I love helping clients get to those "ah ha" moments that unlock the gates to progress and healing. I practice a multitude of evidence based modalities and tailor them to my clients' specific needs. Nothing cookie-cutter, over here. I tend to be solution focused, client centered, and strengths based within my practice. Most of my experience comes from working with those who have experienced significant complex trauma. I believe everyone deserves a therapist that will listen to them entirely and completely free of judgment. I identify as queer (non-binary, poly, pan) and have worked with clients in all stages of recognizing their queerness. I also have experience working with those who have experienced religious trauma whether due to their sexuality or otherwise. If you're looking for a therapist who's laid back, nerdy, uses humor but will also challenge you to make the changes you've come to make; then I'm the therapist for you! Read more Show less
