About Gerald

I am a Licensed Specialized Clinical Social Worker in Kansas with over 10 years of experience providing therapy to individual adults, couples and families. I've worked with clients who are experiencing a broad range of life challenges such as anxiety and stress, depression and mood problems, relationship issues and difficulties adjusting to significant life events. My approach would be described as compasssionate, understanding and encouraging. I use a combination of cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, motivational and narrative strategies to help clients gain understanding and heal so they can live their best life. I will spend time getting to know you - your individual experiences, strengths and needs - in order to work with you to develop interventions that will most effectively meet your unique circumstances. It takes a great deal of courage and strength to reach out for help, and I commend you for taking this step. I look forward to working with you! Read more Show less
