About Georgia

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in Kentucky with over 20 years of experience working with individuals (adults and adolescents) making positive changes in their lives. I have worked with people challenged by depression, anxiety, addictions, trauma, abuse and life-changing situations. My counseling style is interactive, empathetic, and warm. I believe listening is the key to success in a therapeutic relationship and every client I am blessed to serve will feel heard. My approach is client-centered, solution-focused and strengths-based drawing heavily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I am holistic in my approach, integrating the mind and body connection and encourage my clients to consider these connections in their daily lives in order to enhance health and wholeness. When working with clients, I strive to make the therapy experience genuine, positive, respectful and safe. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming the issues that challenge you. It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps toward making positive changes. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you. I look forward to working with you. Read more Show less
