About Gabriela

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Utah with over 5 years of experience working as a counselor and with teenagers. I have worked with clients in crisis situations, with normal day-to-day stressors, with depression, and with trauma. I have worked with families who are dealing with parenting challenges and struggling to connect with their children. I have been trained in Motivational Interviewing, Crisis Response, Trauma focused CBT, and DBT with my own research into IFS. My approach with therapy is to help you feel at ease and comfortable. It is always challenging to find the right counselor and I do my best to make the therapy environment warm and inviting. I will work with you as we move forward to accomplish your goals. If there is something that I don't know, I will do my best to find those answers for you. I look forward to working with you! Read more Show less
