About me

Welcome and congratulations for taking a step toward a better you! My name is Felicia and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 10 years experience providing therapy services in the state of South Carolina. I have worked in a wide range of therapeutic setting including: inpatient psychiatric hospitalization, intensive outpatient care and working in a private practice. I work with individuals affected by depression, anxiety, substance use, trauma, and relationship challenges. I received my Masters degree in Clinical Counseling from Webster University. Through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I assist clients in exploring their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors to identify possible dysfunctional thought patterns leading to self-destructive behaviors and beliefs. Through Motivational Interviewing (MI), I help clients to become motivated to change the behaviors that are preventing them from making healthy choices. Through Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), I support clients through developing skills: mindfulness, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and emotion regulation with the goal of clients moving toward happiness and fulfillment. In my leisure, I spend time with my husband and son. I also enjoy reading and singing.
