About me

Hello! My name is Evelyn and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Illinois with over 6 years experience in mental health. I have worked primarily in inpatient psychiatric settings with children, adolescents, and adults coping with depression, anxiety, life transitions, relationship/communication difficulty and low self-worth. I would describe my therapeutic approach as warm and empathic while empowering my clients to become the best version of themselves. I meet my clients where they are and firmly believe that they are the experts in their lives. We will work collaboratively to discover strategies and solutions that work best for you. I am a safe space and nothing is too big to or too minute to discuss. Whether you’re here to seek support, answers, vent, or you’re not sure, remember you are human. I am also a person who knows that humor heals our hearts. Be prepared for a lot of talking and laughing. We will get through this together!
