About me

I am a licensed professional counselor supervisor in the state of Texas. I have experience working with adolescents on probation and their families, couples, families with trauma and conflict, individuals seeking Christian Based Counseling, individuals seeking support from the LGTB+ community, individuals with Eating Disorders and complications with Disordered Eating, and individuals with substance abuse and addiction. I am originally from Bossier City, Louisiana and came to Dallas, Texas in 2003 to attend graduate school at Dallas Theological Seminary. It is there that I received my Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling. I have been a licensed professional counselor since 2008. Along with the above, I have had experiences with inpatient mental health hospitals, mobile psychological evaluations, intensive inpatient and outpatient assessments, marriage & family therapy, in-home counseling, and residential treatment centers. My counseling goal for my clients is to to help provide the skills needed to cope with life’s struggles and for them to achieve mental and physical wellness. In my down time, I enjoy relaxing with my husband, sweet daughter, and 3 dogs Chewie, Meiko, and Brooklyn.
