About me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Georgia with six years of experience. I have worked with people making change in their life, challenged by depression, anxiety, trauma, abuse, and life changing situations. My approach is solution focused, client centered, and strengths based drawing heavily from Cognitive Behavioral Theory, Mindfulness, and Trauma Focused. My counseling approach is from a place of empathy, mindful and client-centered perspective, yet direct and straightforward. I believe in treating everyone with respect and dignity. I work from the mindset that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths to draw from that will assist you in doing great things and overcoming the lifestyle changes and momentary roadblocks that you are experiencing in this moment. Before even meeting you, I want to acknowledge the start of growth you have already taken by signing up for therapy. In this very moment you have taken the necessary steps for change and you have shown the courage to continue on this path. I am proud of you for getting started! I am excited to meet you and work together to identify your goals and make the right plans for you to achieve them!
