About me

I am a social worker by trade (LCSW) and have 10 years of work experience in the field. I worked in hospice and transitioned into therapy over the last few years. I have worked with a variety of issues including low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, motivation, symptoms of ADHD, parenting challenges, anticipatory grief, and bereavement. I like to get to know you as a person so I can have a thorough understanding of you and any problems you are trying to figure out. I will make an authentic, genuine connection with you. We will be a team collaborating to create a treatment plan that suits your lifestyle and personality. I create an environment where you will feel comfortable, relaxed, connected, heard, and validated. I spend time getting to know you so I can understand the issues you have been facing. I will move at a pace that you are comfortable with. The therapy styles I enjoy using are Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy. I want therapy to be something you look forward to!
