About me

Hi! I am a licensed mental health counselor in Florida with a doctorate degree in clinical psychology. I began working in the field over 20 years ago treating children, teens and adults struggling with emotional and behavioral disorders. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns such as depression, anxiety, life transitions, low self esteem, career challenges, addiction, and trauma. I utilize a psychodynamic approach with CBT, DBT, Interpersonal Psychology, and Motivational Interviewing . I will be sure to tailor our sessions with the best approaches to meet your individualized needs. I have a passion for mental health and helping others feel better. My style is emphatic and nonjudgmental as I treat everyone with respect, compassion and validation. It is very courageous of you to make the first step in wanting to feel better. When you are ready, I am here to listen, support and help you feel empowered! I look forward to working with you and hearing more about your story!
