About Elyse

I have been a counselor for 24 years. I believe that counseling needs to be eclectic in order to best serve and support. I'm honored to have had rich clinical experience in Domestic Violence, Childhood Neglect and Dependence, Adoptions, Youth and Adult Developmental Disabilities, Addictions, Adolescent Conduct Disorder, Mental Health Disorders, and Veteran's Concerns. Counseling must be tailored to the consumer and the counseling model must follow suit. I find that Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) works well with most; however, I also use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Interpersonal Therapy for Depression (ITP-D), Mindfulness, and Narrative Therapy. I am here to help my clients through current situational stressors or past trauma that impacts how they experience the world. Let's work together at your pace in order to create a meaningful today and joyful tomorrow! Read more Show less
