About me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas with over 20 years of experience in counseling, teaching, and advising. I have worked with a wide variety of ages and various topics including goal setting, anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma. My work in the academic setting has afforded me the opportunity to help clients with a history of ADHD, OCD, and ED develop strategies to be successful in school. I also have extensive training in trauma-focused therapeutic techniques including cognitive-behavior therapy. My counseling style is warm and Interactive. Although I have an eclectic theoretical approach to counseling, it is mainly Rogerian person-centered and humanistic in styles. I look forward to getting to know you as an individual and helping you reach your therapeutic goals.
