About me

Hi! My name is Liz Meyer, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of North Dakota. I have experience working with a wide range of individuals experiencing issues related to anxiety, depression, grief, personality disorders, and co-occurring disorders. I have specialized training and education to assist those who have experienced trauma and experiencing trauma related symptoms. I attended the University of North Dakota where I graduated, and earned, a Minor in American Indian Studies, Minor in Chemical Dependency, Bachelor of Science in Social Work (B.S.S.W.), and Master of Social Work (M.S.W.). I am currently licensed in North Dakota as a Licensed Clinical Social Work (LCSW) and Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC). My therapy approach is person-centered, strength-based, and trauma informed. I have been trained in the modalities of therapy of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT); Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT); Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR); Brief cognitive-behavioral therapy for suicide prevention (BCBT-SP). I am registered to attend training for Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT) in April 2024. It takes courage to reach out for support and I appreciate the time you took to review my profile. Please take the next step on your mental wellness journey and contact me so we can schedule an appointment to determine how I will be able to best support you.
