About me

I was born and raised in Colorado. In my late 20’s I moved to Florida and lived there for about 12 years. While I was in Florida I met my wife whom was from Colorado too. After we were married we decided to return to Colorado. I started counseling and working with people while I lived in Florida and continued after I moved to Colorado. I have been counseling and working with people for about 20 years. Over the past 20 years it has been a privilege to help people and to be a part of their lives for a short time and help them through struggles such as life changes, grief, anxiety, depression, addictions, trauma, and relationship issues. As I have worked with people with these struggles and many others I believe in treating everyone with respect compassion. I believe therapeutic rapport is one of the most important aspect of the therapeutic relationship. Therefore, In every session I will endeavor to create an atmosphere where you feel heard, safe, trust, and respect so you feel comfortable being open about what is troubling you. Each session will be tailored to you, your needs and goals, and the treatment plan you establish. Reaching out for help and talking to a therapist is never easy and requires a lot of courage. If you decided to reach out to me I am here to support you and help you achieve your goals and the life you want for yourself.
