About Dr.

Hello, my name is Dr. Glover; I’m originally from San Diego, California. I received my doctorate degree from Oregon State University in Counseling with a specialty in Counselor Education & Supervision. I’m a repeat Alumni of Portland State University receiving a Masters of Science in Counseling with an emphasis on Rehabilitation and Community Counseling and a Bachelor's of Science in Sociology and Psychology. I’m a Nationally Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, a Nationally Certified Dialectal Behavioral Therapist, a Nationally Certified Addictions Counselor as well as a Licensed Professional Counselor in multiple states. I have worked in the human service field for over 20 years. My experience allows me to walk through the journey of change with my clients in an empathetic, compassionate, and understanding manner. I have worked with individuals and couples, adolescents and adults. All experiencing a range of individual issues including but not limited to trauma, depression, anxiety, anger management, addictive behaviors, parenting challenges, and career challenges. I have worked in residential, outpatient, academic, and correctional settings. My theoretical orientations are client center and individual therapy. Dialectal Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Solution Focused Therapy. I view counseling as an interactive and holistic process utilizing experiential techniques.
