About Dr.

Hello! I’m Dr. Katherine Sherman and I'm a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of Florida. I received my Ph.D. from the University of Florida in 2010. I specialize in working with women under age 40, including children and adolescents, to assist them in stress management, coping with life changes and family issues, and reducing symptoms of anxiety, depression and related impairments. I also treat more targeted concerns such as OCD, ADHD, specific phobias, and trichotillomania. I specialize in collaborating individually with parents to teach them effective evidence-based parenting strategies for disruptive behavior disorders and other concerns. I also work with individuals and their families who are coping with chronic illnesses and medical conditions such as diabetes, chronic pain and fatigue, transplants, and cancer. I have a warm, caring, and open-minded treatment approach. I integrate techniques from evidence-based treatments and cognitive-behavioral therapeutic techniques. I would love to meet with you and see if we are a good fit! Read more Show less
