About Dr.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Texas with 36+ years of professional work experience as a college professor and therapist. I have experience in helping individual clients with stress and anxiety, trauma, PTSD, and abuse, & motivation, self esteem, and confidence. I also have experience working with career difficulties. A lot of my experience is with military service members and their spouses. In couples therapy, the focus is on the relationship rather than the individual. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey. DISCLAIMER: There are no guarantees of the results of therapy. While every effort will be made to assist clients in obtaining their therapy goals, there are certain risks involved. These risks include, among others: emotional and/or mental anguish; loss of the relationship; loss of status within the relationship; and incompatibility of needs, goals, or desires. Alternatives to therapy may include: self-help books; support groups; workshops and seminars; psychiatry; clinical psychology; or hospital admission. The decision to utilize one of these, or the therapy outlined by the therapist, is solely that of the client(s). Read more Show less
