About me

I was pretty lost in my teens dealing with my parent’s divorce, relocation, depression, anger and I did not know how to ask for help. I just hid my feelings, kept busy with work and school and no one ever knew how I was suffering on the inside. I got through college, had a nice career, got married but was still not feeling whole on the inside. My world totally blew up when my husband suddenly died in my early 30’s. That was my breaking point….. but I didn’t break. I got help. I started counseling to deal with the ugly stuff in my past and to get to a place that I could even begin to heal. I stuck with it as much as it scared me to look inside. And… I started to heal. I also found my passion of helping others to move forward in their lives. The key is to identify your thinking patterns that hold you back and change them to a more realistic and motivating message. When our thoughts are more inline we feel better and our behaviors follow as well. I will help you identify how you hold yourself back, help you set goals, and work with you to make the changes you want in your life. It is such an enlightening experience and we may even have some laughs along the way.
