About me

Are you having trouble living your best life? Do you think, “I should be happy because….?” After 26 years working as a psychotherapist, I continue to focus on building a trusting and collaborative relationship with my patients/clients. It is my belief that all good work in therapy is based upon this foundation. I approach each session with the goals of maintaining that relationship, addressing short time issues/struggles and looking at the underlying connections to daily events and interactions. By using this 3 pronged approach, we can understand ongoing patterns that interfere with one achieving the best quality and satisfaction in his/her life. I specialize in working with individual struggling with depression, anxiety, traumatic events (past and present) and feelings of diminished self worth. I have experience and special interest working with parenting issues, infertility and interpersonal difficulties. I work with positive aspects of a person, even during times when they find it difficult to see this themselves. Everyone has strengths within them and these are utilized to keep the best within a person.
