About Deborah

I am a licensed Clinical Therapist residing in the state of Michigan. I believe in treating the whole person and, when families seek services, the whole family. I work from the belief that individuals and families have the ability to live and maintain a healthy lifestyle when they are given the opportunity to make different choices and have access to appropriate resources-whether through mental health treatment or community supports. We live in a world where an abundance of information is readily available, which can sometimes create confusion about when to seek professional assistance versus relying on self-help. I believe in meeting individuals where they are in their lives and supporting them in developing the tools needed to empower themselves. When individuals are equipped with skills for success, they are better able to navigate emotional situations with less guardedness and greater intention. I am intentional in my approach to treating the whole person and/or the whole family so that, when services conclude, each individual has gained the knowledge and skills necessary to continue their journey toward a healthier lifestyle.
