About Dawn

Hello there... I am Dawn Eaden. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Board Approved LPC-Supervisor; licensed in Texas and Georgia. I received my Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University in 1996. I earned my Masters in Education in Counseling from Texas Southern University in 2005. I have an extensive amount of work with families involved in foster care and possess 19 years of experience providing case management, therapy, and crisis intervention services. After working with children and families involved in the Department of Family and Children Services in the Metro Atlanta area for 10 years; I relocated back to my home state of Texas to continue my work to assist and facilitate healing and harmony in one life at a time. My scope of practice includes working with Family Units and Children & Adolescents; in individual, family, and couples sessions. I have experience with Community-Based Services as well as Private Practice. My treatment style is stirred from Person-Centered, Family Systems, CBT, Solution Focus; also quite a bit of Trauma-Informed Therapy as I have served as a Crisis Counselor for many years. I focus on being a good listener, empathetic, supportive, mindful and nonjudgmental. I look forward to doing the work with you to assist in finding the solutions you seek. Read more Show less
