About me

I am a Michigan Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and nationally Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC). I have had clinical experience working with clients who experience trauma, loss and grief, disability, family issues, and body image challenges. I am a youth mental health first aid provider and trainer in adult mental health first aid response. I offer individual, child, and family counseling. I provide a holistic approach to counseling by addressing physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual needs. I ensure the highest quality care is provided through an integrative, client-centered approach. I use a variety of therapeutic techniques to include cognitive-behavioral, psychoeducational, trauma-informed, mindfulness, and solution-focused. I promote personal growth by providing an atmosphere that is safe, accepting, and direct. I will hear you, validate your experience, and strive for your personal empowerment. If I am not the person to work with you, I will refer you to local area expertise where you may find a better-matched clinician.
