About Daphne

Life can be challenging for everyone. Hello, my name is Daphne Jones-Gooden I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor with the State of Michigan for 10 years. During my career as a mental health professional, I have worked with a diverse population including adults, teens, adolescence, school age children and families. As a psychotherapist I specialize in treating issues regarding anxiety, depression, caregiver’s issues, ADHD behaviors, self-esteem, life transitions, parenting, and family issues. Utilizing cognitive behavior, motivational interviewing, solution focused, and family theories; the client is able to gain progression while navigating their therapeutic journey. I believe the therapeutic journey is a professional relationship where the client establishes chosen goals; and both the client and therapist work together to achieve therapeutic outcomes. I look forward in partnering with you to address the challenges that have hindered progression in your life. Read more Show less
