About Courtney

Hi there. My name is Courtney Krolikowski. I have been working as a counselor for the past 8 years. I currently hold licenses for practicing in both North Carolina and Illinois. My license in Illinois is called LPC or Licensed Professional Counselor. My license in North Carolina is called LCMHC or Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor.I received my Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology from Benedictine University in Illinois. Illinois is where I was born and raised, but in 2017 I moved to North Carolina, for four years, to support my husband in his job. I now have moved back to the Midwest and reside in my husbands hometown in Wisconsin. In the past 8 years I have become a Nationally Certified Counselor as well as a Nationally Certified Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapist. Throughout my years as a counselor I have worked with those who have been domestic violence perpetrators and survivors, those who have been court ordered for anger management and parenting classes and those who have need trauma counseling. I have worked with individual client's who were in need of counseling for things such as Anxiety, Depression, Eating disorders, Bipolar disorder, Dissociative Identity Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, etc. I have worked with individuals of all colors, religions, genders/identities (LGBTQ and more) and belief systems. I have also provided Couples Counseling and Family Therapy. My treatment approach is very person centered, focused on you, the client, and what you want and are looking for. My personal style is that the client is the driver and I, the therapist, am the passenger helping to guide you along. You, the client, are the one doing the work, setting the goals, I, the therapist, am helping provide you with ways to reach those goals. Read more Show less
