About me

I want to share a bit of myself. I graduated from Concordia University Wisconsin with my Masters in Counseling; I also attended Hood College in Maryland and graduated with another Masters in Thanatology (Thanatology or Deathlore is the scientific study of death and the losses brought about). Then I attended Carthage College, got my undergraduate degree in Sociology in Kenosha, and grew up. I am also a Licensed Professional Counselor in WI and IL. Communication, nondiscrimination, trust, and confidentiality are major cornerstones of my counseling practice. I’ve been practicing for over 25 years and have a solution-focused counseling approach. I specialize in all “Issues of Living and Dying” and Grief with all ages. I’ve worked in and out of various educational clusters. As a counselor, I worked for the State of Wisconsin Division of Vocational Rehabilitation.
