About me

Sometimes life dishes out more than anyone can handle alone. Taking the step to seek counseling isn’t easy for anyone. Congratulations on taking this step toward healing. My name is Cheryl and I am licensed in Colorado with 23 years of counseling experience helping families, individuals, couples, youth, and adolescents. My unique background as both a mental health professional (LPC) and a medical professional (NP) enables me to provide holistic care that considers how the body and mind work together. I am experienced in helping people cope with medical diagnoses, stress and anxiety, sleeping disorders, depression, & difficult life changes. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. Therapy is provided using an eclectic approach which may include CBT, DBT, Psychoanalysis, and Person Centered Therapy among others. Each session is focused on the needs of the individual.
