About Charsie

I am a mental health counselor licensed in Mississippi with over 6 years of experience working as a crisis therapist for both youth and their families. I have worked with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, family conflict, ADHD, ODD, DMDD, PTSD in youth, and parenting skills. I have worked with survivors of abuse and their families. My counseling style is interactive, conversational, and opening. I am continually seeking continuing education in order to become trained in new therapies to bring these new skills to the people I serve. I believe in respect, compassion, and empathy and I do not believe in labels or stereotypes. My approach to therapy combines cognitive-behavioral, person centered, and motivational interviewing. I believe in an individualized approach to treatment, and I will make sure every treatment plan is individualized to meet your own specific needs. It is often difficult to take the first steps towards creating change in your life. If you are ready to take the first step by reaching out, I am here to support and empower you. I look forward to accompanying you on your journey forward in life. Read more Show less
